Until now, three companies with the same family shareholder structure have operated in the market: ALMAWATECH Babenhausen, BHU Leonberg and Eco ALMA Brazil. All three companies each have more than 20 years of experience.
The two shareholders have decided to merge the two companies ALMAWATECH and BHU into a single legal entity and to trade only under the name ALMAWATECH. The BHU product group will remain unchanged at the Leonberg site. The restructuring brings advantages in business with international companies.
The technological focus, experience and references of the Leonberg and Babenhausen teams complement each other perfectly. While Leonberg concentrates on larger water and wastewater volumes of between 100 and 3,000 m³/h, ALMAWATECH's typical systems are in the 1 to 100 m³/h range.
Although the basic processes are often similar, the plant designs differ greatly. BHU plants are often designed as open concrete or steel constructions, whereas ALMAWATECH plants are mainly designed as modular containers or are installed in the customer's building.
ALMAWATECH systems are practically always supplied as complete systems, while BHU systems are supplied as technology modules combined with an engineering contract due to the size of the system.
At Eco ALMA, we ourselves are operators of wastewater plants where we treat customer wastewater in disposal centers.
We operate a technology center for water chemistry in Essen/NRW and develop and produce sustainable products for maintaining water cycles, treating wastewater and for use in membrane separation technology and reverse osmosis systems.
We have a strong team of engineers whose professional experience ranges from six months to 40 years. This mix is what makes us successful.
