Task
Design, engineering, supply of special equipment, installation, commissioning of wastewater and sludge treatment plants for refinery wastewater.
Design data
Preparation quantity:
- 450 m³/h
Target parameters:
- Treated wastewater in accordance with the discharge directive
Solution & implementation
The procedure includes the following process steps:
In the first process step, the majority of the oils and fats are removed by means of precipitation and flocculation in a dissolved air flotation system(ALMA NeoDAF stainless steel). An ALMA BHU MMF was installed to clean the remaining undissolved components. The remaining particles are removed from the wastewater by deep bed filtration.
In the subsequent biofiltration(ALMA BHU BAF), the remaining dissolved organic compounds are broken down (nitrification and denitrification). The sludge from the various process stages is removed and treated further.
